So as I said earlier I rediscovered the old programming ... thing I used to make dos programs back. I don't think it really counts as an engine, more like a compiler. Anyway, as a challenge to myself I decided to make a new game with this tool. I was actually surprized at how well it actually worked.

For anyone who hasn't played Bomber, that was initially a turn based game, as I didn't know how to make it take input in real time. So when a class mate showed me how to make it real time in a hacky kind of way I converted the game into 'action' after the fact. This meant that when ether side took a shot, everything would pause until ether the shot hit, or missed. However, in this game everything is moving in real time just like they should. I think if I was going to make Bomber again today I would try and make it real time like this, and it probably would have been if I'd known about this trick back when I first started making it.

Anyway, enjoy the new DOS game. If you use it on real hardware I would love to know, or see a video even!
